Vintage Amethyst Diamond Owl Ring Circa 1950's Figural Birthstone Gift Birthday Ring 14k Yellow Gold

Oh this is a fun piece from the 1950's for the true owl lover! It's the most intricate owl I've ever seen sitting on branches on your finger! So neat! This ring is made entirely in tested and guaranteed 14k yellow gold (stamped 14k), and features five marquise cut amethyst quartz, two single cut diamond eyes, and it was made in the mid 1950's. He/She is very wise! If you are a huge owl lover or collector of all things owl, don't miss out on this one of a kind ring! The ring comprises a dimensional owl mounting measuring 30.00mm x 17.00mm x 10.20mm over all, prong-set with five oval mixed cut amethysts and two single cut diamonds, on a split, bamboo motif shank which measures from 2.23mm to 6.84mm in width. The amethysts measure an approximate average of 5.00mm x 3.00mm each and weigh .15cts approximately (.75ct t.w.). The two twinkling in the moonlight single cut diamonds are SI1-SI2 in clarity, G-H in color, measure approximately 2.10mm in diameter, and weigh approximately .03 carats each (.06ct t.w.). This fun figural Retro era ring has a grand total gemstone and diamond weight of approximately .81ct t.w. This ring weighs a whopping 10.6 grams and is currently a finger size 7.25.
