Amazing 23.87ct t.w. Aquamarine & Old European Cut Russian Pendant 14k/10k

Yes, this pendant is real, authentic, incredible, and an attainable value! This 14k yellow gold, natural aquamarine beryl, and diamond pendant, is of Russian origin and hails from the early 20th century. A large piece such as this one was worn by a woman of great taste, that's for sure! The pendant measures approximately 23.15 mm square, excluding the tapered bail, and is comprised of a center square emerald cut aquamarine, set in an eight-prong mounting, surrounded by 32 Old European cut diamonds, bead-set within the octagonal frame, suspended from a point from a graduated bail bezel-set with one single cut and three Old European cut diamonds. There is open scrollwork on the gallery. The aquamarine is eye clean, measures approximately 16.92 x 16.81 x 10.70 mm, and weighs approximately 22.35cts. The adorning diamonds are VS1-VS2 in clarity, G-I in color, measure from 1.22 to 2.68 mm in diameter, weigh from .01 to .07 carats each, and have an approximate total weight of 1.26ct t.w. The top diamond in the bail is VS1 in clarity, G in color, measures approximately 4.07 x 4.07 x (2.44) mm, and weighs approximately .26cts. Approximate total gem weight in this gorgeous pendant is a whopping 23.87 ct t.w.! The pendant is stamped with a three part hallmark comprised of the letter eight, a rectangular frame (rubbed, unidentifiable), and the number “56” within an oval frame [Russian, partial]. This heirloom worthily pendant weighs 10.6 grams and is extended on a 24.5" inch rope style chain that is made in 10k yellow gold and matches the antique patina perfectly! A customized replacement appraisal will be emailed upon completion of sale by an outside source Certified Senior Member, National Association of Jewelry Appraisers GIA Graduate Gemologist in the amount of $12,075.00.
