This ring features a central natural pyrope garnet weighing approximately 5.69cts. That gemstone is surrounded by bead platinum set old rose cut diamonds. The halo of diamonds have the quality range of H-J color, SI1-SI2 clarity. Those 30 .005ct prong set antique diamonds have a combined diamond carat weight of approximately .15ct t.w., for a grand diamond and gemstone weight in this ring being approximately 5.84ct t.w.. This ring is made entirely in 18k rich yellow gold with a platinum bezel holding the diamonds (tested and guaranteed), weighs 4.1 grams, and is currently a finger size 5.25. My trusted jeweler can safely re-size this up or down two sizes free of charge and will take 1-5 business days, just ask (additional sizes up will be a flat $45.00 gold fee, just ask!). Appraisals
Jewelry Finds' pieces are independently appraised by highly-experienced, professional GIA-trained Gemologists. They are appraised as accurately as possible in the mountings so as not to affect the integrity of the pieces. The appraisals are for our use only but the pertinent facts are in our listings. We are no longer sending insurance appraisals after the sale due to some insurance companies demanding they come straight from the appraiser/not the seller.
Jewelry Era is approximate unless we have purchased from an original owner, or it has been established from our research. Time period is determined by jewelry design, construction, hallmarks (if any) and materials used - part of the intriguing mystery of antique and estate jewelry.
