Antique Victorian 4.32 ct. tw. Emerald Cut Garnet and Old European Cut Diamond Halo Earrings Silver Over 14k

Found are these glittering, antique Victorian natural red garnet and diamond drop pierced earrings of silver over 14K yellow gold with 18K yellow gold bezel. Each earring is comprised of a square, step-cut natural reddish/sienna garnet (approximately 1.51 cts. each (total 3.02 cts.) in a milgrain bezel of 18k yellow gold. It is surrounded by 12 silver prong-set Old European Cut diamonds in a half inch rhombus with a 13th OEC diamond set at the top on the post (approximately .65 cts. total (2 earrings are around 1.30 cts. total), G-H Color, SI1-SI2 Clarity). These earrings measure .5" wide x .75" long. Each has a 14k yellow gold post and latchback closure. All metals are unmarked but tested. The earrings weigh 5.7 grams together. Appraisals

Jewelry Finds' pieces are independently appraised by highly-experienced, professional GIA-trained Gemologists. They are appraised as accurately as possible in the mountings so as not to affect the integrity of the pieces. The appraisals are for our use only but the pertinent facts are in our listings. We are no longer sending insurance appraisals after the sale due to some insurance companies demanding they come straight from the appraiser/not the seller.

Jewelry Era is approximate unless we have purchased from an original owner, or it has been established from our research. Time period is determined by jewelry design, construction, hallmarks (if any) and materials used - part of the intriguing mystery of antique and estate jewelry.
