This is a once in a lifetime piece! I am proud to present this authentic and extremely rare Victorian turquoise and old mine cut diamond tassel brooch/pendant. It is the kind of piece that is featured in antique jewelry books and will be your absolute favorite treasure! I even love just holding it because it's such a rare and precious piece of art! It almost has a regal 'YSL' look to it but for fine antique jewelry lovers! It's a stunning Victorian (Circa 1880's) brooch featuring a unique, detailed design with rich embellishments. Whether pinned to a garment or worn as a pendant, this gorgeous accessory adds an interesting, upscale element to any look. This swirling and transcendent piece features 68 natural cabochon turquoise in excellent condition totaling approximately 2cts and an additional 65 bead set old mine cut diamonds set in sterling silver ( .57ct t.w. G-H color, SI1-I1 clarity range). This brooch/pendant has an approximate grand total gemstone and diamond weight being 2.57ct t.w.. This pin is made with with c-clasp closure and Jump ring and I have included a FREE European antique gold chain so you may have the immediate option to wear it as an extraordinary pendant so you can use this chain for other pendants as well! My treat! It is an antique English origin solid 9k rose-yellow gold chain that is beautifully made, with hand hammered links, and fastened with a tiny dog clip fastener. Some signs of wear & faint shallow denting to a few links commensurate with age and use. The chain is Circa 1880's and stamped '9ct'. The chain measures 18 inches long and weighs 8.3 grams on it's own. The pendant weighs 17.5 grams of 18k yellow gold and sterling silver holding the sensational old mine cut diamonds (all gems, metals and diamonds are tested and guaranteed). It measures 3" inches North to South, 1.75 inches East to West, and has the faint unidentified maker's mark of 'N.H. 1287CQ'. In total, this piece weighs 25.8 grams and is in excellent antique condition! Questions are welcomed on Pendant-1875.

Appraisals
Jewelry Finds' pieces are independently appraised by highly-experienced, professional GIA-trained Gemologists. They are appraised as accurately as possible in the mountings so as not to affect the integrity of the pieces. The appraisals are for our use only but the pertinent facts are in our listings. We are no longer sending insurance appraisals after the sale due to some insurance companies demanding they come straight from the appraiser/not the seller.
Jewelry Era is approximate unless we have purchased from an original owner, or it has been established from our research. Time period is determined by jewelry design, construction, hallmarks (if any) and materials used - part of the intriguing mystery of antique and estate jewelry.
